Two long-time friends, regarded as experts in their field, found themselves constantly working together.   Crafting Bytes was born.  Along the way, we've collected our team of fantastic engineers who value quality, leading-edge technology, scalability, flexibility, and affordability.  But most importantly, we deliver value to your organization as quickly as possible.

Scott Reed
Software Engineering Team Lead

Scott's career in software began in 1993 at IBM. Along the way he has developed enterprise solutions for both Microsoft and Cardinal Health. In 2006, Scott founded Brain Hz Software, a company specializing in software architecture and agile development. In 2014 he partnered with Ike Ellis to form Crafting Bytes, a small software studio and consulting firm.

Data & AI Team Lead

Ike has worked with data his entire career.  He started as a data consultant for Quickstart Technologies in 1997.  In 2000, he branched out on his own as. private consultant, helping companies build data models, star schemas, reports, and data pipelines.  Along the way, he's added skills like hadoop, spark, databricks, and now AI and ML, but it's all essentially the same thing: helping organizations use data to make better decisions, enable their team, and drive growth.   He leads a skilled team of professionals that are capable of delivering any data-related solution.  Watch his YouTube videos for the latest data topics that have caught his attention.
